PORA is professionally operated by our elected Board of Directors and Executive Director, with a staff of full- and part-time employees. A team of volunteers also helps PORA thrive.

Many of PORA's daily operations are completed by a strong team of volunteers. PORA is in need of new volunteers:
Marketing & Communications
Help spread the word about everything PORA is doing for Sun City West. Opportunities include social media, email communications, newsletters, website content, photography, and promoting PORA programs and events.

Help us connect with current and prospective PORA members. Make friendly calls, encourage renewals, answer questions, and help residents understand the value of being part of PORA.

Love travel and planning fun experiences? Join the TRIPS team to help discover, plan, and coordinate exciting day trips, shows, tours, dining experiences, and adventures for the community.

Help build and strengthen PORA's Vendor Referral Program. Work with local businesses, help recruit quality vendors, develop relationships, and find ways to make the program more valuable to both vendors and PORA members.

Be part of the team bringing PORA BINGO to Sun City West. Help with Sunday Bingo operations, welcoming players, selling cards, assisting at the tables, and creating a fun experience for everyone.

Help tell the PORA story! Join our Speakers Bureau and visit Sun City West clubs and organizations to share what PORA is doing, the services we provide, and how we're advocating for the community.

Help monitor and advocate on transportation issues affecting Sun City West, including road projects, traffic, intersections, ADOT projects, and future transportation planning.

Help protect Sun City West residents' interests regarding water rates, water service, infrastructure, and proposed changes that could impact homeowners.

Help monitor major development and transportation projects that could affect Sun City West, including BNSF-related projects. Assist with research, community outreach, and advocacy efforts.

Community Outreach
Be a PORA ambassador in the community. Attend neighborhood and community events, talk with residents, answer questions, and help people understand how PORA can serve them.

Special Projects
